Description:
An excellent plant for rock gardens or as a ground cover.  It's tiny white flowers cover the plant in spring and early summer. 

 
Common Name: Rockcress, Wall Rockcress
Botanical Name: Arabis
Type: Perennial
Soil Preference: Tolerates drought and will grow in moist soil but prefers well-drained/loamy soil with a neutral pH.
Light Requirements: Full sun, partial sun
Attributes: Good in the rock garden, alpine garden or to be used in the border or as a ground cover; attracts butterflies
Pests: None serious
Diseases: Root rot, gray mold, mildew and white rust may be a problem but its not normally serious
Good Companion Plants: Basket of Gold, Bugleweed, False Rock Cress, Hens & Chicks, Creeping Phlox, Stonecrop
Care: Divide in spring if necessary.  Fertilize with Plant-tone, Flower-tone or a water-soluble fertilizer.

Arabis caucasica 'Little Treasure Deep Rose'

Description:  Widely planted in rock gardens, this low-growing perennial forms a low, even cushion of evergreen leaves. It makes an excellent cover for slopes or sunny, dry areas. It is fairly drought tolerant once it is established. In mid-spring, vibrant rose pink blossoms cover every inch of the foliage. It's a spectacular show made even more lovely by mixing in spring-flowering bulbs.
Bloom Color: Rose Pink

Foliage Color: Green
Height: 4-6"
Spread: 10-12"

Arabis caucasica 'Snowcap'
Wall Rockcress

Description:  Widely planted in rock gardens, this low-growing perennial forms spreading cushions of woolly grey, evergreen leaves. In mid-spring, dainty white flowers cover every inch of the foliage "like cheese on a pizza". It's a spectacular show made even more lovely by mixing in spring-flowering bulbs. Try growing this variety as an edging, as an alpine plant, or as a groundcover for slopes. It is fairly drought tolerant once it is established. Plant it somewhere where the sweet fragrance can be enjoyed by passersby.

Description:  Low growing green foliage and white flower mats.  This form will tolerate some shade.  We suggest removing the spent flowers for a neater appearance.
