Geum


Description:

Enjoy Geum as a cut flower in fresh bouquets.  The fuzzy, green leaves form an attractive mound that makes a good filler for the front or middle of the flower border. The main blooming period is late spring thru early summer, but it will continue to bloom sporadically throughout the summer if deadheaded. Their color impact is visible from quite a distance.  Geum is a fast grower that is rarely bothered by pests or diseases.

Description:  The burgundy purple calyx opens to reveal ruffled, gold flowers with blazing red-orange markings and a gold center. Deep
burgundy purple stems carry the blooms from late spring into early summer. Forms compact clumps of slightly glossy, light green foliage.

Description:  A delightful fully double, scarlet red geum. It's flowers measure up to 50% larger than other varieties and they continue to bloom over a very long period from late spring into summer. Description: Small, semi-double, upward facing, bright mango-orange blooms with yellow anthers dance on slender stalks above basal rosettes of fuzzy, pinnately divided leaves. These leaves are evergreen in all but the coldest of climates. The main blooming period is late spring thru early summer, but it will continue to bloom sporadically throughout the summer if deadheaded. Their color impact is visible from quite a distance. The small stature of this perennial makes it an excellent choice for edging, containers, or rock gardens.
