Description:
Beautyberry is pretty much maintenance free and grows easily in full sun or dappled shade
in a variety of soils. The violet berries are very popular with the birds!
Looks great in a naturalized setting with Oaks, Pines and darker-leaved shrubs such
as Sand Cherry and Holly. (Pollen may cause a slight irritation to allergy
sufferers.) |

Tolerates drought and a little salt and
will grow in dry soils as well as well-drained/loamy, sandy or clay soils with a pH of

| Description: 'Profusion' received a Gold Medal from the
Pennsylvania Horticultural Society as a plant of merit. The five foot long
Willow-like leaves turn pink to orange to purple in fall. This variety bears an
abundance of violet berries that are well liked by birds. |
