Description:
An easy-to-care-for, easy-to-trim evergreen shrub used in many U.S. landscapes.  They are relatively slow growing and can be very long-lived.

   
Common Name: Yew
Botanical Name: Taxus
Type: Evergreen Shrub
Growth Rate: Slow
Soil Preference: Well-drained, moist soil, acid or alkaline. Do not allow water to stand around the root zone.
Light Requirements: Full sun to shade but growth is thicker in full sun.

Pests: Black vine weevil, scale, yew-gall midge
Diseases: N/A
Care: Trim April-July.
