| Description:
Introduced at the Royal Horticultural show in London in 1940 but did not
appear on the market until 1964 because of the war with Germany.
Foliage is dark green with a slight luster in summer changing to
reddish-purple in fall. The extremely fragrant flowers are pink in
bud, finally white, late April to early May. Blooms a little later
than other Viburnums. Likes moist, acidic soils. |

from pink to dark blue. Received the Gold Medal Award from the
Pennsylvania Horticultural Society. |
