Hardy Kiwi Vine

Description:

A fast growing, twining vine that provides fast coverage in just one season.  'Arctic Beauty' bears large, heart-shaped leaves with a random white and pink variegation. 

 

Common Name: Hardy Kiwi Vine
Botanical Name: Actindia
Type: Deciduous Perennial Vine
Soil Preference: Will grow in moist soils but prefers a well-drained or loamy soil with a pH of acidic to neutral (less than 7.0)
Light Requirements: Full sun, partial sun, partial shade.   Will do best in full sun - at least 6 hours per day.
Attributes: No serious insect or disease problems
Pests: None serious
Diseases: None serious
Care: Fertilizer lightly because too much nitrogen might reduce foliage variegation.  Fertilize with Holly-tone or an acidic water-soluble fertilizer.
