Description:
Well-drained soil is beneficial to all varieties. Pinch rather heavily
after flowering to encourage blooming throughout the summer. This perennial
can be a very useful weed smothering, tight nit groundcover. It is at home
in almost any soil as along as its well drained. It needs to be planted in
an area of full sun to partial shade and also must be cut down, after
flowering, almost all the way to the ground. Geraniums are self seeding, and
fairly adaptable to short periods of dry conditions. These plants require
minimal care once well established and are free form pests and diseases. Pea
staking can be useful in wetter areas because plants will have a taller
