Nurseries has all the design help and materials you will need to give your
home that professional landscape look.
Since 1973, Dayton’s has offered a wide variety of
plant material including trees, shrubs, roses and vines as well as over 800 varieties of
perennials, mulches, fertilizers, pots, water garden supplies, and greenhouses bursting in
spring with annual flowers and lush hanging baskets.
Advice and know-how to make your investment grow thrives at Dayton Nurseries as the
plant business is our only business. Not only does our advice pertain to landscaping, but
covers the areas of lawn problems, insects and disease, fertilizing, proper trimming and
much more!
Dayton’s offers the following approaches for landscape design:
Landscape Sketch
Bring in a clear photograph of your home or area you wish to
landscape, some measurements, and the direction North. One of our
designers or qualified sales people will be delighted to meet with you and
give you some ideas that may include a small sketch if necessary.
Cost - No Charge
**Please note that in springtime, it is best to call ahead to make an
appointment so that we may give you prompt attention during the busy spring
season.
Landscape Design Kit
This design is more detailed and involves you to fill out the kit as
directed as far as drawing the area to scale on the graph paper provided and
by providing other information we request so that we can create a detailed
to-scale drawing with a complete cost estimate.
While our designers do consider your needs and desires, they will also take
into consideration any constraints of the site in order to develop a plan
that "works".
We can create a landscape that changes with the seasons and one that
involves all the senses using color, fragrance, movement, focus and so on in
order to avoid that cookie cutter look so common in suburban landscapes.
This type of design includes one of our designers or qualified sales people
meeting with you at the nursery and doing a "walk through" presentation to
show you the material used and explaining how it is used.
How do you get our landscape design kit?
- Pick one up in the store on the display near our front doors.
- Request one to be mailed via
e-mail or using an online form.
- Call us at 330-825-3320 to have one mailed to you. Then drop
off the kit at our store or mail it in so we may develop your customized
landscape plan.
Cost - $50
Premium Landscape Plan
This design is our most detailed and involves one of our
designers traveling to your home, talking to you about your desires, taking
photographs then generating the design and doing an explanation and "walk
through" at the nursery to explain and present the design. A cost
estimate is included with or without installation.
Cost - $250 & up
*Design costs will vary on different projects depending upon the
complexity of the design and the time required to develop it.
Please be aware that while we listen to our customer's needs and desires
for their landscapes, we will not knowingly design your landscape to please
you if we know that your desires will not work based on your particular set
of conditions even if it means no sale for us! |
